Sensitivity

Change of value in the output quantity of a measurement device referred to the change of value of the input quantity which causes it, refer to DIN 1319-1. With a capacitive Displacement sensor , a sensitivity of 5V/mm signifies that a change of displacement of 1 mm within the Measuring range changes the output voltage by 5V.
