Precise thickness gauges for strip and plate materials
2022-04-20
The thicknessGAUGE systems offer 100% quality control with high precision and maximum flexibility. Different sensor technologies allow for many different surfaces and materials to be measured. Moreover, these extremely compact systems can be optimally adapted to the respective measurement task. Due to the excellent price-performance ratio, the C-frame and O-frame systems can be used in standard industrial applications, as well as in the OEM sector. Automatic calibration is performed on a regular basis and within a few seconds.
thicknessGAUGE C.L
The C.L models are equipped with laser triangulation sensors and offer a good price-performance ratio with a high measuring rate and precision. These systems are used for thickness measurement of wood, plastics and metals with an accuracy of ±2 / ±5 µm and a measuring rate of up to 4 kHz.
thicknessGAUGE C.C
The C.C models are equipped with confocal chromatic sensors. These operate with a measuring rate of up to 5 kHz and an accuracy of ±0,4 µm. The special feature is that the thickness measurement can also be performed against reflective and shiny targets, as well as transparent and semi-transparent films.
thicknessGAUGE C.LP
The C.LP models are equipped with laser profile scanners that offer a measuring rate of up to 100 Hz and an accuracy of up to ±0,75 µm. They are used, among other things, for thickness measurement of perforated and embossed plates, as well as for roller control and quality documentation.
thicknessGAUGE O.EC
The latest O.EC models are based on a combiSENSOR. It combines an inductive sensor based on eddy currents and a capacitive sensor and therefore measures the thickness of non-conductive materials, which are guided over a measuring roller. They are particularly suitable for reliable and precise thickness measurement of films and plastic strips.
Analysis and control software
All thicknessGAUGE models are equipped with a comprehensive software package. This includes powerful signal processing for precise and stable measurement values, an article database and an SPC package. Furthermore, statistical evaluations and fully automated documentation and control of the manufacturing process are possible. Continuous monitoring of defined target parameters and limit values are also included. Furthermore, it offers fully automatic documentation of the measuring equipment capability, as well as a flexible interface for connection to the production line, which communicates via Ethernet, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET or EtherCAT.
