Eddy current sensors for clamping extend the product range
2021-11-25
For small measuring ranges of 1 mm and 3 mm, Micro-Epsilon has developed the eddyNCDT ES-U1-T and ES-U3-T sensors. They are designed for clamp mounting and have no thread. This avoids torsional stress on the cable caused by frequent turning. The sensors have a defined clamping point, which minimizes thermal expansion in the measuring direction and achieves high temperature stability.
Via push-pull you can easily connect the sensors to powerful controllers such as the eddyNCDT 3060 displacement measuring system. The controller combines high precision, speed and temperature stability.
Inductive sensors determine displacement, distance, position, shaft movement and gaps to the highest precision. The eddyNCDT 3060 is ideally suited to applications in harsh environments where high accuracy is required such as those found in plant and machine building, automotive industry, automation technology and test benches. The 5-point linearization, which is possible using the DT3061 controller, enables even higher measurement accuracy. Furthermore, the DT3061 offers switching and temperature outputs and allows the storage of multiple characteristic curves. Parameter set up is performed via a modern, user-friendly web interface that is accessed via an Ethernet interface.
