Material-independent speed measurement from the 1st rotation

2021-03-02

The industrial capaNCDT CST6110 rotation speed system consists of a compact industrial sensor and a robust controller which are connected via a sensor cable. The non-contact measuring system detects rotational speeds of conductive materials such as metals and non-conductive materials such as ceramics or plastics. Reliable from the first detection, these measurements can be performed on blades, teeth, rings and nubs. The measuring range extends from 1 to 400,000 rpm.

The sensor can be mounted radially or axially. The M5 thread enables both stable and space-saving installation. Its high interference immunity makes the sensor ideally suited to electromagnetic radiation.

Fields of application extend from rotation speed monitoring on shafts with axial mounting and measurements in pumps to rotation speed of bore holes where radial installation is required. Data output is via a voltage output or a digital interface.
