The powerful CFO200 True Color recognition sensor from Micro-Epsilon detects 320 colors in 254 color groups to the highest color accuracy with a measurement frequency up to 20 kHz. In addition, the innovative web interface provides ease of use.

In the current robot-based application (see video), the colorSENSOR CFO200 is integrated into the XB Feeder from XB Automation. The sensor automatically recognizes vibration dampers made from silicon in 60 different colors. The color is measured directly in the production line. Due to the high measurement frequency, the color is inspected extremely rapidly. The determination of a measured value takes only 35 ms for each damper. The application also requires a large color memory and high color accuracy, as provided by the True Color recognition sensor from Micro-Epsilon.

The colorSENSOR CFO200 can be used where it is necessary to detect very small color differences between components, for example in painting technology, automation systems, packaging technology, quality control, surface labelling, and printing technology tasks.
